| Some water quality parameters and zooplankton fauna were determined in the Hoplar Creek and the Kasımbey Creek in Hatay. In the study, water quality parameters were within normal values except for conductivity that showed both a high and unstable. A total of 45 zooplankton taxa belonging to 20 families have been identified, including 30 rotifer, 10 cladocer and 5 copepod species in both streams. The families with the most species were Lecanidae and Lepadellidae with 6 species. The most abundant species in all seasons in both creeks were Cephalodella gibba, Colurella adriatica, Euchlanis dilatata and Lepadella ovalis. |
