Özet
The levels of trace metals in lichen samples, viz., Xanthoria parietina, Cladonia rangiformis, Collema subnigrescens, Dermatocarpon miniatum, Pysica adscendens, Collema crispum and Peltigera praetextata, collected from roadside in polluted and unpolluted locations were determined by flame and graphite furnace AAC after microwave digestion to determine quantitatively the regional atmospheric deposition of heavy metals (Fe, Mn, Zn, Pb, Ni, Cr, Cu and Cd) in Trabzon-Turkey. The metal concentrations in the lichen samples were determined higher on the traffic roadside and industrial zone than control areas. The high metal accumulation levels in the lichen species were found in Collema crispum for Fe, Pb and Cr, Pysica adscendens for Zn and Ni, Dermatocarpon miniatum for Mn, and Xanthoria parietina for Cu and Cd. Iron concentrations in the lichen samples ranged from 54.3-598.4 µg/g and were found …
