Özet
Asynchronous motors have been the first place of the most often used actuators in the industry because of the simple structure, inexpensive price and stability of working. Condition monitoring of these motors is very important because faults of these motors lead to both decreasing of manufacturing power and increasing of the repair and cost prices. Asymmetry that caused by the rotor broken bar fault, decreases the average value of the motor electromagnetic torque, at the same time reveals the additional frequency components of the electromagnetic torque spectrum. In this presented study, induction motor, is modeled with Finite Element Method and subjected to transient state analysis. The motor starting current and starting torque signal were monitored while there was different number of robust and rotor broken bar fault. The effect of rotor broken bar fault on electromagnetic torque analysis was carried out with graphical results.
