Özet

On the other hand, it must be noted that local strains that occur due to residual stresses, bending moments, thermal gradients or sharp surface defects in materials under static load can cause small cracks in these materials [15]. It is reported that these small cracks induce the formation of stress corrosion cracking in welded joints [16].The aim of this study is to provide exhaustive research on the mechanical properties and microstructural behavior of AISI 2205 duplex stainless steel welded joints which are welded via the CO2 laser beam welding technique as well as the effects under unidirectional static stress.
