Özet
The aim of the study is to explore whether there is an effect of “role stress” on the employees‘occupational well-being. Using a sample of 180 sales representatives working in the pharmaceutical companies in Izmir, the present study set out to examine the relationships among role stress and the employees‘occupational well-being. For the purpose of this research, data for each variable and its sub-dimensions were collected by using the role stress (Rizzo et. all, 1970) and occupational well-being (Schultz, 2008) scales. The results obtained from the proposed models in which role stress dimensions, in turn, were hypothesized to have a significant correlation with each occupational well-being dimension demonstrate that intrasender conflict has a significant negative correlation with professional self-acceptance and managerial ambiguity has a significant negative correlation with occupational growth.
