Özet
The aim of this study is to examine the phenomenon of social justice in education by making use of the views, suggestions and perceptions of the lecturers regarding the concept of social justice. For this purpose, in this study, the perceptions of the instructors about the role of education in social justice and the elimination of social injustice in the society, their opinions and solution proposals regarding the evaluation of the Turkish education system and education policies in the context of social justice were evaluated on the basis of the phenomenon of social justice. The method of this study, which was conducted with a qualitative research design, is phenomenology. The data collected through a semistructured interview form from 27 lecturers working in the educational sciences departments of different universities were analyzed by content analysis method.
