Özet
This study reports outcomes of a course that aimed to introduce undergraduate students to nanotechnology, and discusses how it influenced students' understandings of nanotechnology. The effectiveness of the course was measured by implementing a pre-test-post-test survey with three dimensions: nanotechnology literacy, risks and benefits of nanotechnology, and interest in nanotechnology. The study found that students had very limited knowledge of nanotechnology before the intervention. The survey given after the course indicated a shift in students' understanding, and suggested the course to be an effective educational tool for teaching nanotechnology to undergraduate students.
