Özet
Potential of three Turkish native isolates of the entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs); Steinernema carpocapsae, S. feltiae and Heterorhabditis bacteriophora against the last instar larvae of the Colorado potato beetle (CPB) Leptinotarsa decemlineata (Say)(Coleoptera: Chrysomalidae) was evaluated at three different temperatures (10, 15 and 25 C) under laboratory conditions. Cadavers of infected Tenebrio molitor larvae were used for this evaluation. T. molitor larvae were exposed to 500 IJs for two days. Approximately 145 g sandy soil was placed into each cup and a single last instar larva of L. decemlineata/cup was placed. Infected T. molitor cadavers were buried in the soil and placed in incubators at 10, 15 and 25 C. S. feltiae was the most pathogenic nematode at the three temperatures. The insect cadaver application method showed a high level of virulence to L. decemlineata larvae. All nematode species …
