Dolichos lubia A new host of Meloidogyne incognita in Turkey

| In a survey conducted in greenhouses in Antalya, Burdur, Isparta and Eskiscedilla˜ehir, Turkey, moderate to severe root-knot infection was observed on the roots of Capsicum annuum, Lycopersicon esculentum and Dolichos lubia. The mature females were attached in abundance on the roots. Based on the perinial pattern of mature females, the species was identified as Meloidogyne incognita. This is thought to be a new host record of M. incognita from Turkey. |
