Özet
The objective of this study is to determine which factors have impact on export propensity and intensity of SMEs in Turkey. To meet this objective, a survey was conducted with 395 small and medium sized firms in Turkey. Results show that number of employees, firms active in cities which have above zero development index and having promotion activities differentiate exporting firms from non-exporting ones. Having a marketing department, number of employees, firms that have quality standard certificate and running businesses in more developed cities increase the exporting intensity.
