Özet
BackgroundHypertension is one of major cause of heart failure. About half of hypertensive patients with heart failure symptoms have diastolic heart failure. Diastolic dysfunction caused by impaired relaxation and decreased compliance in hypertensive patients. Impaired relaxation and decreased compliance due to interstitial fibrosis and exaggerated accumulation of type I and III collagen in myocardium. Fragmented QRS complexes (fQRS) are defined as changes in QRS morphology with different RSR’patterns. It has been shown that fQRS on ECG signifies myocardial fibrosis.
