Özet
Purpose: This study was designed to analyze the factors related to urinary stress incontinence prevalence in women who 15 aged or over, married, have giving birth and inhabiting in a primer health center region.Method: The cross-sectional study covered 800 women, who inhabiting health care center region and was selected by the method of stratified sampling. Data was collected by questionnaire forms during home visits with the method face to face interview. The data were evaluated with the analyses of chi-square, fisher exact test, and multiple logistic regression analysis and with tables of percentages on computer. Results: According to the results obtained, the prevalence of urinary stress incontinence in the population has been detected as 25.1%. The existence of such cases as genetic factors Age, delivery number and incontinence history during pregnancy, UI problem in past, and being cystocele at present are determined as the risk factors related to urinary stress incontinence and to have direct effects on the development of urinary stress incontinence in accordance with the results of logistic regression analysis.Conclusion: In our study, all participants have one or over risk factors for urinary stress incontinence.
