| Özet |
| METHODS: A total of 751 patient records whose admitted to emergency unit between February 2012 and May 2015 were retrospectively evaluated. Besides obstetric history of the pregnants, reason for admission, presence of entering hospital, stay of time in emergency unit and admission time in hour, day, and month were recorded.RESULTS: The most complaints on admission were found as stomache, nausea-vomiting and vaginal bleeding, respectively. The most frequent time period on admission was 19: 00-22: 00, day was Tuesday, and month was May. Since 96% of pregnants were discharged after treatment in emergency unit, merely 4% of pregnants were accepted to hospital stay.DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: In conclusion, a higher frequency of patients were detected as inappropriate admissions to emergency unit and led to unnecessary workload on physicians. |
