Özet
Due to the convenient ecological conditions and Turkey's being gene center, apple has been grown almost everywhere in the country since ancient times. Because of this, determining whether the energy used in producing apple is effective or not, will be guiding for applications within the related policies. For this reason energy input and output analysis are evaluated in this study. With this analysis, apple production and the energy equivalents of the energy input used in apple production in Tokat city have been tried to find out. The data have been gathered in a survey conducted in the firms in Tokat where apples are produced intensely. In the survey following information is gathered. The highest input used in apple production belongs to the fertilizer with 36.19% among the energy equivalents used in apple production.
