Özet
The main objective of this study was to characterize the phenolic composition of the hydromethanolic extract and its fractions from Centaurea papposa leaves, and to evaluate their antioxidant, enzymatic inhibitory, cytotoxic, and antibacterial activities. In addition, molecular docking analysis was performed using dihydropteroate synthase as the bacterial target enzyme to explore the interactions with major phenolic compounds. LC‐MS/MS analysis identified shikimic acid and chlorogenic acid as predominant in the hydromethanolic extract. In the ethyl acetate fraction, vanillic acid, protocatechuic acid, chlorogenic acid, and shikimic acid were the major constituents. Meanwhile, the chloroform fraction was rich in salicylic acid and luteolin. Furthermore, the antioxidant assays, including 2,2‐diphenyl‐1‐picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), 2,2′‐azino‐bis(3‐ethylbenzothiazoline‐6‐sulfonic acid) (ABTS+), ferric reducing power (FRAP …
