| Özet |
| The main goal of this study is to determine the personality traits of employees in hotel businesses, to examine effects of personality traits on job satisfaction and organizational commitment and to investigate whether job satisfaction is mediated by the relationship between personality traits and organizational commitment. Descriptive research method used in the study. The aims in descriptive research is researching and presenting current status of a subject by defining the problem, about the status of this problem, variables and relation between variables. 916 hotel employees in 9 five and four star hotels in Antalya were the sample of research, in May, 2016. Questionnaire technique was used as a data collection technique. The questionnaire consisted of 4 parts, the first part is demographic variables. The second part is “big five personality traits scale”, the third part is “organizational commitment scale”, the last part is “Minnesota job satisfaction scale”. Some statical analysis made to data in the result of research. These analyses were frequency distribution, reliability analysis, factor analysis and regression analysis. As a result of regression analysis, the five factor personality traits of employees in hotel business have an impact on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Another result of regression analysis, job satisfaction is mediated by the relationship between personality traits and organizational commitment. |
