Özet
In this study, detailed morphology and anatomy of four Heptaptera species (H. cilicica (Boiss. &Bal.) Tutin (endemic), H. anisoptera (D.C.) Tutin, H. anatolica (Boiss.) Tutin and H. triquetra (Vent.) Tutin) from Apiaceae family which are naturally grown in Turkey have been investigated for the first time. As a result, morphology and anatomy of the four Heptaptera species have been enlightened and the specifications were supported by photographs. Besides, micromorphological features of mature fruit surfaces of four species are also described, compared and photographed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). In this study, it was determined that morphological and anatomical characteristics of fruits show significant differences that will be helpful for the taxonomical identification of Heptaptera species.
