Özet
The effect of self-efficacy on student achievement was examined in this meta-analysis study. A total of 943 research studies were collected during the literature review, out of which 231 were included in the meta-analysis. The 231 research studies were compiled to obtain a sample size of 242,023 subjects. The results of the random effectmodel showed that self-efficacy has a medium-level positive effect on student achievement. The moderators identified for the study were the years of the studies, type of publication, culture, schoolsubject or assessment type and sample group and were found to be moderator variables.
