The survey with cotton producers was conducted in Koçarlı district of Aydın in 2023 by meeting with 50 farmers one-on-one. The survey consists of a total of 34 questions, 17 of which are related to weeds and plant protection problems. According to the findings of the study; All producers are men and 32% are primary school graduates. When we look at the data regarding plant protection problems in cotton in the study; As weeds, it was observed that the most common weeds were Canary-Sorghum halepense (41%), Dog grape-Solanum nigrum, and the least problematic were Gluegrass-Setaria verticillata (4%) and broomrape-Descurainia sophia (2%). Farmers stated that two-spotted red spider (Tetranchus urticae)(38%) and aphid (28%) were the most common pests and that they were problems.
