Özet
The purpose of this study was to determine the consumption of mineral water by households and the socio-economic factors that affected the level of consumption. A Tobit model was used in the data analysis to determine the effects of various socio-economic variables on consumption. The study found that variables such as job, the price of mineral water, gender, marital status, wife's employment, age and the level of consumption frequency had a significant effect on mineral water consumption by households. Based on the findings of this research, mineral water companies can implement new policies or they can modify their income-increasing policies.
