| Özet |
| Gamma-glutamyl transferase is an important second generation enzymatic liver function test for the diagnosis of hepatic inflammation. It has been shown that this type of glycoprotein had a role in the oxidation of low density lipoprotein cholesterol. Studies obviously showed the relation between oxide cholesterol level and coronary artery disease. With all these information, this test started to be questioned for using as a biomarker in people with increased cardiovascular risk. |
