| The question posed by Ulam 114 during his academic talk in 1940 presents the beginning of study of Ulam–Hyers stability. He proposed the question concerning the stability of a group of homomorphisms which was later partially answered by Hyers 47 in Banach spaces. The next major progress in this field was made by Rassias. 82 Since then, Ulam–Hyers stability problem was studied from various angles and applied on different types of problems. Idea of applying fixed point theorems in order to obtain stability results of functional equations was introduced by Baker. 10 Precisely, he acquired the Ulam–Hyers stability of a functional equation in a single variable by use of a generalization of the famous Banach theorem. This idea was further widely extended and numerous stability results of functional equations are acquired (see Refs. 13, 16, 17, 30, 88, 89, 92, 96, 97).
