| Özet |
| Aim Determining student attitudes and, if possible, influencing them in the positive direction may bring the student closer to achieving the desired knowledge and skills. This research was initiated with the aim of measuring the attitudes of elementary school students towards music lessons. Method The study group was 225 (female, 105, male, 120) students studying in 6th-7th-8th grades in the academic year of 2017-2018 at Ibni Sina Elementary School under the Ministry of National Education, located in the district of Turhal, Tokat province. The research is a descriptive study of students' attitudes. Umuzdaş (2012) music lesson attitude scale was applied to elementary school students in the research. Results The data obtained were analyzed using average scores. The results of the study showed that the students' attitudes towards the music lesson were generally positive. Also, it is concluded that among the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students, 6th grade students have a higher attitude towards music lesson than the others. Conclusion When the average scores in the study are interpreted, it is seen that the students are interested in music lessons in general terms and they care about music. |
