Özet
In this study, AISI 410S ferritic stainless steel sheets were joined by plasma arc welding process with the variety of welding currents. After welding, post weld heat treatment (PWHT) was applied to investigate the change of mechanical properties and microstructure in cases of PWHT and none PWHT. The results showed that the tensile strength and the hardness of welded joints were decreased by increasing welding current, namely increasing heat input. Meanwhile, the grain coarsening and the ductility were increased and the tensile strength was decreased in the case of PWHT. In addition, as a result of tensile test, there were ductile fracture modes in all samples.
