| Özet |
| This study explores the environmental effects of world agriculture using data for the years 1980-2002 and projections up to the year 2025. Variables examined and projected include: N and P fertilizer consumption; pesticide consumption; usage of irrigation water; agricultural areas; population; and gross domestic product (GDP). Correlation analysis reveals that while GDP and population have no effect on P fertilizer consumption, they significantly affect N fertilizer consumption, irrigation water use and agricultural areas. |
